Help So Pretty Support the Cause!

So Pretty is offering a variety of pink ribbon items to help support the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in NYC this month. So Pretty will donate a percentage of every pink ribbon item sold to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

This month we'll spend a weekend walking, along with thousands of other people, in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. We will walk the distance of a marathon and a half - almost 40 miles over 2 days through NYC.

We’re very excited because we know it will make a real difference to the millions of people affected by breast cancer. Those millions include relatives, close friends, co-workers and neighbors. We’re walking with 4 of our best friends from college. We all know someone who has battled this disease, many of us have had our own scares and we all have daughters.

Our team has already raised over $16,000!!! The money raised goes to the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade, a 501(c)(3) public charity whose mission is to provide access to care and to work toward finding a cure.

All of our customers have been so generous, we’re hoping you will be again. I actually owned the original Maysles brothers' movie sometime in the 90's. It was given to me by a Conde Nast sales rep back when I used to buy magazine space for a living. I thought the movie was so interesting and heartbreaking when I first saw it. I was amazed to hear it was made into a stage musical several years ago and I just saw the HBO special with Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange. Did anyone else?
